Goals 

Understand the characteristics and differences between lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries.

Target audience

All stakeholders in the air freight logistics chain: cargo handling agents, ramp staff, reservation agents, sales personnel, trainers, supervisors, and anyone involved in handling, documentation, or oversight of shipments containing lithium or sodium batteries.

Program 

This awareness module is designed to familiarize air cargo professionals with the risks associated with transporting lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries. Through real-life examples and regulatory reminders, learners will discover best practices to ensure safe operations and prevent incidents related to these dangerous goods.
